Missed Connection

This message was intended for a particular person at a particular time. That opportunity has since passed and now it gets to sit without being received. Instead of holding on to it, I figured it would be best if it was given freely to the world to do with as it pleases:

Don't listen to anyone else, do what you want to do.

The purpose of this message was to be antithetical to what most people usually recommend when you receive advice, whether it be intentionally solicited or not. People tend to recommend things from their personal context and then assume it applies to everyone equally. But, everyone’s experience is vastly different with their own forms and gradients of nuance that only applied to a particular place at a particular time. Even the message itself might be an application of my own personal context, however, it’s intended to convey that you should do the things you want to do simply because you want to do them. Not because someone else expects you to.
